Assignment 1 continued...

We brainstormed for ideas and what hit us was the idea that MDL should be portrayed as media hub where students can interact with all forms of media, be it old or new, and we envisioned it like a little world on its own, a diverse city which also functions as a common ground for media enthusiasts to share about media.

We thus came up with some banners and headers:

For the design process we took into account these elements:

1.Design Principle
-colour harmony among NUS orange, black, white and shades of gray.
- Rule of thirds
- Minimalist

2.Theme
-Appear professional with urban minimalistic feel to incorporate the MDL functions within FASS.

3.Typeface
-Font family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif

The microphone which represents the audio aspect of media
